Short: SView5 - PPaint loader/saver V5.1 (17.1.2004) Author: Andreas R. Kleinert Uploader: info@ar-kleinert.de Type: gfx/misc This archive includes a Personal IO SView5 Loader and a Saver library for PPaint 7.x and above. It enables every owner of a valid SView5.keyfile to also import/export images to/from PPaint directly. This will enable loading/saving of file formats that PPaint does not support. Without a SView5 keyfile the module can't be loaded at all. IMPORTANT: For installation, simple copy the supplied "libs" directory over the one in your "PPaint:" path. You may also wish to delete any previous "personal_sview_io.library" from there. Usage: Within the PPaint filerequester, select "SV AUTO" or any other entry starting with "SV " to utilize the SView5 Library IO module. Features: - 24 Bit images are imported as 24 bit images - 8 Bit palette images are imported as 8 bit images - 24 Bit images are exported as 24 bit images - 8 Bit palette (rendered) images are exported as 8 bit images This all happens transparently at biggest possible speed. All necessary conversions are done by the loader/saver and/or PPaint, with minimum overhead. NOTE: requires s5view.library V1+ and sview5support.library V1+ ************************************************************************** This is a part (coming as add-on) of the SView5 distribution, which consists of the following core parts: Sv5-1.lha Main program, Tools, SView5-Library Sv5-2.lha Documentation files Sv5-3a.lha SV5Objects (JPEG, PNG, PCX, BMP, ILBM) Sv5-3b.lha SV5Objects (other - OPTIONAL) Sv5-4.lha SV5Drivers Sv5-5.lha SV5Operators Sv5-6.lha OPTIONAL 68020+ optimized SV modules Sv5-7.lha OPTIONAL language localizations (except english/german) All parts are (C) 1993-2004 by Andreas R. Distribution and other legal conditions are to be obtained from the documentation as found in the second archive. To get the complete distribution, un-archive each of the single archives into the same directory: LHA x [archive].lha RAM: This will result in a directory called "SView5" from where the installation script can be started. Note, that this won't work, if you did not un-archive all of the (non-OPTIONAL) archives... ************************************************************************** Other optional, separate archives for example are: Sv5-UX.lha SVObjects for seldomly used Un*x file formats Sv5-WIZ.lha wizard.library for those who don't have it already **************************************************************************
